This week has seen the announcement that the Caravan Club are rebranding to the Caravan and Motorhome club. And the reason behind the change? “To better reflect the diversity of their members.” They are still proud of their history and quite rightly too having formed back in 1907 by a merry band of outdoor enthusiasts who set up the club for likeminded caravanners.
However times do change and it seems they are committed to upgrading facilities across the entire site network, including having wi-fi on every site by the end of 2017 and they already have facilities for motorhomes to empty their waste and refill with water on almost 90% of the club sites.
By building on its success and becoming more relevant, welcoming and inclusive we’re sure they will flourish for many more years to come. Unlike the Camping and Caravan Club they do not yet offer corporate membership for us to pass on to you our customers to enjoy discounted pitch sites when hiring one of our Motorhomes or campervans but you no longer need to be a member to stay on a Caravan and Motorhome club site.
Their website is actually full of inspirational stuff and so if you’re starting to plan your trip it really is well worth having a look at https://www.caravanclub.co.uk/discover/
